Terms of use
Version 2026-09-01. Last updated 1 September 2026.
SEC Fantasy is a free fantasy football app for college football. These terms are the agreement between you and whoever operates it. They are short on purpose. If you disagree with them, do not use the app.
1. What this app is, and is not
SEC Fantasy is an independent app made by fans. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or licensed by the Southeastern Conference, the NCAA, ESPN, or any university or athletics department. School names, team names and player names appear only to identify real teams, real players and real games.
Statistics, schedules and betting lines come from third-party sources and may be late, wrong, or missing. Nothing here is an official record. If a number in this app disagrees with the official box score, the official box score is right.
2. No gambling, no money
This app has no entry fees, no prizes, and no payments of any kind. Point spreads and totals are shown because they are a useful read on how a game is expected to go, not as an invitation to bet. Nothing in this app is betting advice. What you and your league do among yourselves is between you, and is your responsibility — including making sure it is legal where you are.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- One person, one account. Creating extra accounts to take more than one team in a league, or to get around being removed, is not allowed.
- Keep your password to yourself. Anything done with your account is treated as done by you.
- You can delete your account at any time from Your account → Delete my account. It is immediate and cannot be undone.
4. League chat: what gets you removed
League chat is read by everybody in your league. There is no tolerance for any of the following, and accounts that post it are removed — on a first offence, without warning, and without regard to whether it was meant as a joke:
- Harassment, bullying, or piling on.
- Slurs or hate directed at anyone's race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
- Threats of violence, or wishing harm on anyone.
- Sexual content, and anything at all involving minors.
- Doxxing: posting somebody's address, phone number, workplace or other private information.
- Spam, scams, and links to malware.
- Impersonating another person.
These rules are about conduct, not about trash talk. Telling your friend his quarterback is a disgrace is the entire point of a fantasy league. Going after somebody rather than their team is not.
If it happens to you
- Report it. Tap the ⋯ beside any message and choose Report. Your league's commissioner is told, and so are we. A copy of the message is kept with the report, so deleting it afterwards does not make it go away.
- Block the person. Same menu. You stop seeing anything they post, in this league and every other league you share with them. They are not told, and you can undo it from your account page.
- Your commissioner can delete messages and remove a team from the league. We can remove an account entirely — including a commissioner's, which is why reports come to us as well as to them.
We aim to review reports within 24 hours. We may remove content or accounts without notice where we think it is needed, and we do not have to explain a removal in detail.
5. Don't break the app
You agree not to:
- Scrape it, or hammer it with automated requests.
- Try to reach other people's data, leagues or accounts, or to get around the app's access rules.
- Upload anything designed to do harm.
- Resell or rebrand the app as your own.
Finding a security problem and telling us about it privately is not a breach of this clause — it is a favour, and we would rather hear from you than not.
6. What you post
Your messages stay yours. You give us permission to store them and show them to the other members of your league, which is the only thing the app does with them. We do not sell them, publish them, or use them to train anything.
7. No warranty
The app is provided as is, free of charge, with no warranty of any kind. It may be unavailable, lose data, or score a week wrong. We do not promise that it will always work, and we are not liable for losses arising from using it — which, given that there is no money in it anywhere, should not amount to much beyond a bruised ego.
Where the law does not allow a disclaimer that broad, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us, which is nothing.
8. Ending it
You can stop using the app and delete your account whenever you like. We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, or shut the whole app down. If we shut it down we will try to give reasonable notice, but we are not promising to.
9. Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, you will be asked to agree again before posting in chat. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.

These terms are written plainly rather than in legal boilerplate. They are not a substitute for advice from a lawyer, and whoever operates this app should have one look them over before relying on them.
